The existing area of Shorouk City is approximately 16,110 acres. The city’s residential activity area is 6,900 acres, divided into a group of neighborhoods, including all levels of housing (economic – average – upper average – luxury). The New Urban Communities Authority also provides residential plots of land. For individuals, as well as for investment companies and residential resorts, as well as pioneering projects such as the Mubarak Housing Project, the Future Association Housing Project, and free housing and family housing projects. The Authority also created 26,140 housing units, including 13,676 youth and future housing units, and the non-governmental sector created a number 25,147 housing units. The area of service activity is 1,500 acres, as the city’s urban planning provides plots of land for various services (educational, health, cultural, religious, entertainment, and commercial).
