Ain Sokhna

It was called Ain Sokhna due to the large number of hot sulfur springs in it, which are used for hospitalization. It has non-rocky beaches with white sand, and it is considered a summer resort throughout the months of the year, summer and winter. There are several tourist areas and villages containing hotels and chalets. The Ain Sokhna Hotel, which was established in the early sixties, is the oldest of them all, and it is close to Cairo – as it is about 140 km away from it. Approximately kilometers away – making it a favorite resort for Egyptians, especially for a one-day trip, even though the percentage of foreign tourists there is predominant. Several tourism projects are being established in the Ain Sokhna area to attract the increasing numbers of Egyptian and foreign tourists.
